Cosplay, Fallout, and YOU!

So, while at Bronycon 2013 I attended a panel about cosplaying and whatnot. One of the biggest and most important things mentioned is that cosplaying should be fun. This goes to manufacturing cosplay pieces as well. I know cosplay can be stressful, so I have a bit of advice for those wishing to cosplay, have cosplayed in the past, or even those who have been doing it for years. If you start to get stressed out over stuff, just take a step back and remember why you're doing it.

If it's from a show watch an episode, from a game play a bit of it, just to help remind you what and why you're taking the time, dedication, and hard work that copslay takes to make your costume. I know deadlines can be daunting, but taking that ten to thirty minute break can be the difference between loving your piece or dreading it.

On another note I wanted to discuss Fallout cosplays. During my work on my Armored Vault Suit we ran into several issues, one of which was locating the right materials for some of my pieces. Then I realized something. Everything in Fallout(excluding the weapons the Gun Runners make) are scavenged from the old world. EVERYTHING. So, I though that maybe the wasteland prospectors have just as hard of a time finding what they need as we do, so they might just substitute things until they can find what they need. Instead of using lead for bullets, they might have to melt down some old tin cans, ect. So, if you can't find the EXACT material for your cosplay but you found something that could suffice until you do, don't feel bad about using it.

Well, that's all I have for now, take care friends!

So maybe I should put something here. I guess all I can say is I started off taking pics in Horizon and posting them on here, but now I think It'll start putting my cosplay stuff on here as well. It certainly seems a more appropriate place for them.
A shoutout to anyone and everyone who attended Bronycon 2013, you guys made the con awesome not only for me, but for everyone, thank you all!
